This Saturday (July 11th) on Mayne Island

From the Mayneliner page 5

"St. Mary Magdalene Church News
This year's Church Fair is a Medieval theme, on Saturday, July 11, from 10:30 am to 3 pm, with 2:30 being the cut-off time to get your Silent Auction bids recorded. Our Official Bell Ringer of the Day will ring the bells to announce the closing of the bids. The family Church Fair has been going every summer since 1989, complete with games for kids and adults, prizes, baking, parish pies, ice cream, and soft drinks, hamburgers and hot dogs, book sales, Treasure Table, Bottle Booth, horseshoes, Joyce's Petting Zoo, Garden Club with plants for sale, craft table, face painting, fish pond and popcorn. Join us for lunch at Church House, "Hall of Goode Foode". Combined with music by Nan, ...Community Choir, Carol's harp playing, and a performance of Medieval-styled dancing organized by Brian Crumblehume -- it'll be a fine day for all! [My brother-in-law T.D. Christopher will also be performing at the Fayre.]

The Church Fayre is one of our most important fundraising events for the whole year -- one that we heavily depend upon to maintain the operation of the Church and one that our friends and families look forward to every year. FUN 'n GAMES for young and old, alike."

Win this copy of Maynely a Mystery. Bid on it at the Silent Auction.
See you at the Fayre.
